Oh what a night! The Oscars have always exemplified glamorous
Hollywood and 2008’s award show was no exception!

Start by using a wide tooth comb from the start.style.finish line's Ouchless Detangling Comb. Divide hair and create a side part on your head. This comb is fabulous for detangling your hair and blow drying it in half the time. Blow dry hair, concentrating on drying your hair smooth and flat to your head.

Since everyone likes a little height, when your hair is almost dry, use a Ceramic-Ionic Round Brush to add volume at the roots.

Blow the rest of your hair from underneath to create the smooth polished look on the ends and control any fly aways you may have in your hair.

Use a soft mist of hair spray over all of your hair. Take 2" sections of hair and wind them around a medium curling iron from cheekbone level down. Make sure you wrap in the same direction every time, so that you achieve a loose wave. Spray your hair lightly as you finish each curl.

When you are done place your fingers underneath and lightly break the sections apart for a casual look.  The key here is to use a clean, sectioned side part and finish your hair by smoothing the top and sides above the wave with a brush containing tourmaline Gel Cushion Brush to add shine for a sleek and smooth feel and an added fluffy, natural texture on the ends to give you the latest look.
